Do you mean a bent blank?
I've never seen a flat that needed to be cut and drilled.

I've never built on a blank but many people report that some of the templates are inaccurate. I don't recall which are good and which aren't.

I would wait until you get your parts kit ready to go and do each section at a time.  IE:  Front trunion, rear trunion, Trigger hole, magwell, FCG, etc...

You can't.
The problem with using a bent blank template on a flat is that the template has the bend radius factored into it. The best BB template is the ACE template in the gunco.net library. It works great on a .040 bent blank. But, it will not work properly on any other thickness blank, again due to the bend radius.

I would do like muffin said & take your measurements from a working gun.
That is what I did on my bent blank build on a Romy RPK.
It is the RPK on Coldsteel Solutions web site.
