Hey, it is your lucky day:
Latch Tool (You will need to register if you are not member). |

I saw that thread earlier today and thought it looked pretty cool. |

nice tool,
I made a similar one out of a wrench, but it doesn't have the stop. I haven't had any problems installing with it, but that little stop is something I'll try also made a tool modeled after a USGI M1 Carbine hammer spring tool to compress and install the rear spring - just need to find where I filed the pics. |

found it.
The paddles are just fender washers I welded to a $3 harbor freight needle-nose plier. the spring pry tool is a brad nail puller opened up. the front spring wrench is an unmodified 5.5mm the slit screwdriver is self-explanatory. It looks like the tool the other guy made would replace the wrench and screwdriver. the hook is for when the front latch axle cants toward the rear of the receiver, I can pull it forward a bit to find the hole in the trunion. If you are making the folder from a non-folding kit, make sure you drill the hole in the trunion before installing it in the receiver, or the barrel in the trunion. Much harder to do after the fact and higher risk as you can drill through the chamber. http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring01.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring02.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring03.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring04.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring05.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring06.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring07.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring08.jpg http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/webpictures/aktool100spring09.jpg |
