I was wondering how far an 8 ounce bottle of this stuff goes.  I was planning to refinish 2 Romy G kits and was wondering if I should purchase a quart instead.

Thanks.

Depending on if you use a very efficient airbrush or a less efficient but easier to use HVLP gun like mine, I find I can do a rifle and all the small parts with about  3 ounces of moly. That is two light coats. I also thin it a bit for easier spraying. Seems to go on smoother that way. I use guncoat thinner. With an airbrush you'll use even less.

But I have no luck with my airbrush. The moly keeps clogging at the tip. Where as my little HVLP sprayer can mist it on like silk!

I bought a quart bottle and it lasted me two years and a bunch of refinishings. (I lost rack.) Great product!

I use an airbrush and so far my quart has finished 5 AK rifles 1AK pistol and a mag and I am just under 1/2 way through the bottle.  (mags take more than you might think)  so I would say somewhere around 3 oz. a gun is about where I am.
