I have a small problem. I have finished my build & the G2 dbl hook fire control group will not not fit inside my Nodacspud type 1 receiver because of it's single hook cutout.
Since I am not going to drill out the receiver. Do I test fit the trigger, pull & see where it binds up on the right side. then remove material from the r. hook reinstall, test again. until I get the trigger to engage & reset with the hammer?
Forgive if this horse has been beaten to death. My search fu is weak. Has anyone seen a link to this procedure, or any positive input /help ?
Thanks in advance.

Why dont you just make the small cutout in the receiver, its not a big deal.

I have already riveted the trigger guard on, so i would have to drill from the inside. prob not a difficult job to most - but these NDS receivers are hard as h#ll.
I have already parked & coated the receiver & if anyone could scratch, mar the finish it's me - I know it's an AK not a new car...
Of the two parts to whittle on. The FCG would be the less expensive - at this point.

Just cut the offending hook off, I saw one post where a guy is careful in his cutting and uses the bottom as a stop
for overtravel.
