That pretty much explains it.
Some receivers have a single cut in the bottom-front of the trigger opening in the receiver, some have two cuts. On a practical level, there's no difference in quality of trigger pull or durability between the two. The Soviets decided the double hook was unnecessary and went with the single hook. |
