[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front sight post question...

Does anyone know roughly how high from the base of the front sight ring that the top of the post needs to be to correctly line up with the distance markings on the rear sight? I replaced the front sight post with one that wasnt broken off height
ETA : Sorry, CAI WASR-10/63 is the variant if that makes a difference.

might want to try 6 threads,count up in the FSB.it's such a guess as with any AK,it all depends but try it from there.good place to start.won't have to go very much to adjust either way.
