Be patient and watch the boards (alot).Good luck finding a Yugo with a good barrel and if you find a Romy for less than $200 snag it. Happy AK Building

That being said.... If McCain wins, do you think the prices for kits will drop back to normalcy?

I wish we had snagged more kits while they were $89.

kits will NOT go down regardless of elections. an obama win would cause pannic buying. the fact of the matter is that kits are noi longer imported with barrels, meaning the ones that are here, are the only ones left.
supply decreases, demand increases, prices shoot up.
same principle as oil's demand world wide.

Congress is controlled by the same people who brought you the AWB of '94. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for HR4900 to pass (or even to come to a vote on the floor of the House) unless you look good with a blue face.

On January 14, 2008 the bill was referred to the House subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security. I cannot find any action by that subcommittee. I would take a SWAG and say it's "bottled up in committee".
