Folks - I'd like to build a Tabuk Sniper type clone and I'm wondering what kind of scope I should be looking for? Something along the lines of this....

I just picked up a 6X42 POSP from kalinka last week. It actually has pretty good glass! Older Russian scopes I've seen had glass that reminded me of looking thru an aquarium that needed to be cleaned. This PSOP is clear out to the edges of the FOV and has decent resolution, and is reasonably bright. It isn't as good as my wife's ACOG, or the ELCAN I owned. But than agai it was $160 instead of $700... BSW |
