[ARCHIVED THREAD] - chip inside barrel

I bought a milled Hungarian kit and I noticed that there is a chip missing out of the rifling just under the crown. The crown is fine but is this going to cause problems? Affect accuracy or keep chipping? Its not real big, about the size of the rifling wide, and 2/8th" long

tough to say without seeing but I probably wouldn't accept it, but if you got from cope's they are a great operation and will make you right.....

I wouldn't worry about it but would exchange it if possible. Have shot some with a lot of chips and rust pits but still shot good.
