I am wanting to build my first AK and was looking at the Type 5 receiver on this web page
AK reciever According to the web page it has the following features: All pivot holes (no trunion holes) drilled, rails, and magazine well machined to your specified caliber, center support tube installed. You specify caliber: 7.62x39 or 5.45x39, new Bulgarian manufactured selector stop and trigger guard, new front and new rear trunion.

My question is would this receiver be all i need to build the rest of the gun around? What i mean by that is will i be able to buy all the other parts and install they easily or will there be any further machining required?

If you use a front trunnion that is not matched to the barrel, you'll need to set the headspace. That's not a job for amateurs.
It would be better to have them install the trunnion from your kit.

It sounds like they are selling stamped recivers..

I would go with Nodak reciver
and also go over howtobuildanaktyperifle.com/ .
