Great job there.

Did you do anything to it before applying the duracoat?  I was going to us gunkote on mine and am not sure if I want to spend the money for a blast box to blast and then park it before I use the gunkote.  I've got 3 Romy kits I need to start on sometime soon.

I used an industrial degreaser to remove all the gunk.  used a dremel buffer wheel to smooth out  all the sloppy machine marks and duracoated it using a preval sprayer. I actually sprayed it lightly with 3 coats with about an hour wait between coats.  I also have a springfield xd9 with a stainless slide that I duracoated black as well that turned out AWESOME.  I always wanted the black slide model but it came out a couple of years after I purchased mine.  Thanks for the nice comments.  I appreciate it
