Just got another Romy G kit from centerfire. The front sight is canted.

Anyone have a good fix?

I already removed the pins but I am having trouble getting the front sight to move due to some rust. I have it soaking in penatrating oil while I am at work.

buckeye, use a heat gun on the FSB.I made a socket jig out of a large socket for things like this.just get a long oversized socket and cut a slot that will fit onto the sight and use the drive to turn it to where ya want.you can also use a plastic or rubber mallet to break the seal the rust might have on it.but heat would be your friend to loosen it's death grip.just a couple ideas..good luck.

The trick is to get the barrel in a well-supported, no-bounce, no-move braced position.
If anything moves around, the blows are dissipated and the sight support doesn't move.

Be careful not to bend or distort the sight support.
Well braced, and it WILL move.
