[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tantal Stock Question

I am very new to the AK world so bear with me.

On the Polish Tantals, which I believe many are now made by CAI or imported by them, can you remove the wire folding stock and put on a new fixed stock, for some more stability? Or are these receivers totally different.

It's really easy to remove the folding stock. Just take out one screw, punch out the two roll pins and you're done.
