pull the trigger and hold it down and try to rotate the safet down.if it still hits the tail of the trigger, you may have to grind a bit off the safety where it hits the trigger.

Hmmm.... Try holding the trigger when you push the safety down.

If that doesn't work, look and see if the safety is binding against the hammer spring thats holding the trigger down.  Both are common errors.  Hope that helps

Use a Dremmel to cut the portion of the safety lever off that hits the disconnector. This part is not needed on a semi auto. All you need is enough to catch the right side Trigger bar. Heres a pic of how I do all of mine.

The selector has to be installed b4 the trigger, remove the trigger
and install the selector, place in fire position then reinstall the
trigger.there's no reason to mod the selector lever.

+1

Don't modify your selector or else you might as well do what they do in some African countries and that is just remove it entirely.

Even for those disconnectors that catch on the selector (I have had this problem with full-auto disconnectors) you just cut off the tail (of the full-auto disconnectors) and that fixes the problem.
