What size rivets would I need to build a PSL?  I read somewhere it basically uses the same rivet set as a Romanian RPK.  After digging around for days on the 'net I can't figure it out.

I know I can get one cheaper by buying rather than building, but I've decided to build mine.  I like building my AK's rather than buying.  I want to be the one in control of the fit and finish.

And just to be sure, the PSL is considered a 'sporting' rifle and is exempt from 922r compliance rules, correct? I'd assume so as they are imported directly from Romania.

You'll need longer than standard rear rivets I believe seems the 1.5" can be a bit on the short side

It looks like if I go with the Centerfire 100% Romanian receiver, it'll have the rear trunnion installed as well as the trigger guard, so I won't need the longer rivets.  I'll just need the front trunnion rivets, which seem to be standard AKM rivets.

I think you'll need bulged trunion rivets and not standard AKM rivets for the front...I think it takes the same rivets as a stamped bulged Yugo
