The underfolder on my Yugo M70AB2 is slightly too loose for my liking.  The shoulder piece doesnt "flop" around, but I am worried that it will only become more loose after not too many more times of folding/unfolding.  Is there is trick that would tighten up the joints?  The only idea I have currently is to peen the disks that the shoulder piece rotates against to create some tension.   Anyone?

Also, when the folder is locked open, there seems to be, at least in my *noob-ish* POV, a bit too much play in the butt stock assembly.  Any idea on how to tighten up the fit?

I dont think either issue presents a problem in using the rifle, but I'd prefer to have the stock fit a bit tighter in both situations.

First things is how loose is lose?  Remember it's an AK dude.  My AR is even a LITTLE lose.

If it bugs you try a little JB weld on the receiver holes to tighten things up a little.  Not much risk since you can just file down if it get too tight.

If it's not way loose I'd leave it alone.

All underfolders will wobble.

Get used to it.

It's the price you pay for being too cool.

When fully extended, there is about 4-5mm (not quite the width of a 5.56 bullet) worth of play at the end of the stock.

If it isnt anything to worry about, I'll move on.

I'll try the JB Weld trick on the pivot points of the shoulder piece to see if it gets tighter.  Thanks for the tip.

Well darn, now I'm not sure where you say there's a wiggle.  Is it at the receiver where most AK's are lose?  If so JB weld may work.  If it's in the shoulder piece you might be able to fix that some other way...  Either way JB weld is low risk since you can always file it off.
