The muzzle on my AR has blue corrosion and I also found some on the gas system of my tavor. My safe is at 20% humidity and I can't seem to get it lower. If someone can recommend a top notch dehumidifier that would be great. Ammo out of ar is 69gr so and variety and tavor runs 855s. Cleaner used is x9 pro. I'll get some pics up.

So this is the only place it is and the only place hard to dry after I clean it. It flakes right off. So I got a little pumped for nothing. So I've never used frog lube but it it good for everything? Use it as a cleaner, lube, and protector? Do you guys oil the outside of your firearms and if so what parts, with what solution, and what's your method? I've only owned for a year but have quite a few in the safe and that's where they will stay for the 110 degree summer, want to make sure their properly taken care of. Tnx for the help!

That's exactly how mine looks. It's copper fouling. You keep scrubbing..It'll keep fouling....

On a side note...I LOVE my BCM compensator!!!!!

I frog lubed the crap out of my whole rifle before I put it together and after I shot it a few times. I still get the green fouling after the rifle sits for a while. No matter how much I try to scrub it out. I'm in New Germany, so my comp has to be pinned and welded on. I can't remove it for better cleaning.

Shoot more often so it does not have time to corrode.

I know right! It's 115 outside right now I bet I could get cook offs after 3 mags or so lol. I went out the other morning when it was about 100 and I couldn't get it to cool down. When Midwest folks fun time is the summer mine is all winter. Anyone care to share on my above question?

You should see how green a supressor mount becomes.  We have extremely low humidity too.

I just put some CLP on it and don't worry about it.  Green shit in your bore is bad.  Clean your bore.

That green down inside is outside the bore, out past the crown. Bore is clean. I think it has to do with the xpro 9 ,I'll use hoppes 9 or gun slick foam for general and butches every 500rds or so for copper fouling. So does anyone oil the outside ad so with what and how?
