I am looking at midway usa and amazon for cleaning supplies and found enough to get me confused. I have a 14.5 barrel with a pinned comp and I am looking for a rod that isnt to long,

I found all of this

I personally have no use for bore mops other than for applying oil/grease routinely to firearms in long term storage.Patches are better for cleaning since you will use quite a few due to the amount of funk.Mops are a pain to keep clean, and once fouled they are like using a dirty patch.

Actually I'd say just get this kit and keep it simple while covering the rifles, pistols and shotgun etc..Personal favorite anyway and contains most all brushes/tools you will need to clean the firearms..
