Hello to all,
Just got my Frontier complete lower for a new build. The rear take down pin fell out and now all that is holding it in place is the retaining spring. The pin itself fell out so I have that. Anyone in the know can tell me how to put iit back in place Pics would be appreciated. Impala |
| loosen castle nut on buffer tube so that you can move the end plate out of the way the spring is in the hole on the back of the lower behind the end plate remove spring install pin insert detent in the hole the spring came out of and replace the spring and end plate and castle nut. be careful when doing this if you turn the buffer tube out your buffer detent and spring will shoot out |

I say some video on You Tube about it's involvement and so for now I can ask my buddy if he can do it due to he has tools and I don't. In either case the lower is still in working order and so I need some cap busting time on it. Impala |
