Hey everyone, i am 15 years old and love to clean guns. I dont know what i want for christmas and im looking for ideas. I have 3 ar15s 1 AK and a steyr aug-a3.But those are just the semi auto rifles. I love to collect cleaning products right now. So far i HAVE froglube, mpro7 lpx and gun cleaner, hoppes9 and elite gun cleaner, FP10, breakfree clp, barricade, outers metal seal, ballistol, gunslick foaming bore cleaner, tetra gun grease, hoppes gun grease, mobil 1 synthetic grease, flitz polish, shooters choice grease, johnsons paste wax, brake cleaner and thats about it for chemicals. What else do you reccomend? I have an otis kit, multple rods, a tipton jag set, and all the brushes and q-tips i want. But one thing comes to mind is a sight for my aug a3. It doesnt have a scope so i cant shoot it. I was thinking eo tech but i dont know yet.
What do you guys think i should ask for?? ...and no i will NOT SHOOT MY EYE OUT. |

What do you want to do with the Aug, and how much are you comfortable asking your parents for?
You might look into starting to build up some good tools so you can start doing some minor gunsmithing, if you like maintenance you might like that, and good tools last a lifetime. Obviously, have your dad or someone knowledgeable triple check your work if you go down that path. |
