Hello I noticed when cleaning my new BFH Bcm upper looking inside the barrel it doesnt look smooth but there seems to be circular lines around the diameter of the bore all the way through. why would these lines be here. i thought it would look mirror like when looking down the pipe?

The rifling?  It's designed to put a spin on the bullet and stabilize it during flight for accuracy.  Do yourself a favor and pick up a book on the AR-15 platform and do some reading.  Not trying to be condescending, but firearms can be very dangerous with lack of appropriate knowledge.

ya i found what the marks are. they are very consistant and they are from the hammer forging process. i definatly notice a difference between my bfh and my standard barrel. if i dump a couple mags through each of them and get them super hot the bfh keeps way tighter groups.

Interesting that your hammer forged barrel keeps way tighter groups, since most people would never notice a difference.

May I ask what ammo is used and how are you shooting(like off a bench) to determine the difference in accuracy?
