Hello,

I was wondering if anybody knew where I could find a good needle applicator for lubes that will not leak like the factory bottles will.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks!

For a needle applicator I reuse the oiler pens from Weapon Shield and/or Break Free. The needles screw in/out of the oiler, are o-ring sealed and easy to refill.

For a good field size bottle, the Break Free CLP 2oz. liquid bottle with flip top nozzle is fantastic.

In my experience with the above so far,all have shown to be leak proof.

How do you unscrew the needle oilers from weaponshield? Do you unscrew the black part? I tried that and it did not work out too well.

Last time I was at the dentist I asked her for an irrigation syringe, has a hooked plastic tip that absolutely kicks ass for applying lube.  Does not leak or drip.

This is what I use as well, very precise with a long steel needle, not plastic. But there's no cap/cover so this is strictly for bench use, not something you'd stick in a range bag.

Look at the picture in the link I posted...
The metal needle has a enlarged knurled aluminum base(with o-ring seal and threaded) that unscrews from the top of the oilers polymer tube assembly. The "black top" of the oiler tube assembly that the needle is screwed into is permanently glued in place and does not come off.At least not normally.Same with the oiler Break Free uses.

Too bulky for field kit and not so leak proof if the plunger is depressed or pulled out in a range bag or kit.

Best syringes Ive seen for lubes are those that Mil-comm uses with the twist close applicators.Virtually impossible to pull the plunger out of depress it when the applicator is in the closed position.

The pen oilers I linked have slim profile(the size of a ink pen)and fit nicely in most cleaning kit pouches.Thats why I mentioned them.
