I suggest you use thread titles that provide some indication of what the thread is about.

Personally I prefer to use Slip 2000 for general purpose cleaning, Hoppes #9 for bore cleaning, and Slip 2000 EWL for lubrication.  This applies to all most all my firearms, not just ARs.

General purpose solvent: Hoppes #9 Nitro Solvent
Copper solvent: Montana X-Treme Copper Killer
Foaming bore cleaner: Breakfree Foaming Bore Cleaner
Lubricant: 50/50 mix of clean, synthetic engine oil and automatic transmission fluid
Protectant: Boeshield

I keep some Breakfree CLP in my range bag, rather than drag along a half-dozen bottles of whatever.  CLP, for me, is a tool of convenience, not of effectiveness.

Breakfree CLP
Royco CLP
Weaponshield
Slip2000

All of the above will work as cleaner, lube and rust preventative all in one.

Now if you want to use dedicated cleaners followed by dedicated lubes

Cleaners I like:
MPro7
Slip 725
Otis 085

Dedicated Lubes I like:
SlipEWL
TW25B gease or oil

The use of a copper solvent is not necessary in a chromed lined carbine IMO. Additionally a dedicated rust preventative is also unecessary. Your lube or CLP type product should prevent corrosion. If it doesnt then you need a different lube or CLP type product.

I got cabinets full of cleaning and lubrication product samples I've brought home from SHOT and classes over the years. They all work to some extent if used for their marketed purpose. Hell I have used 50 year old cans of 3:1 oil or singer sewing machine oil when it was all that was available during a hunting trip.  The only oproducts i ever threw away were Tetra Oil (Smelled like pig shit and damaged the plastic grips on one handgun) and Militec (smelled like shit and doesnt prevent rust well enough for my needs).

I've been using "Gunzilla" for the last year or so on all my guns and am really pleased with it.  It's a CLP type product, but is IMHO better than the regular CLP . . .
