So, a guy on the range yesterday is praising "BreakFree PowerderBlast" not "Winchester Breakfree Powderblast" but the "real stuff." So, I'm in the local fun shop and figure, what the heck, I'll buy it. Get it home, blast the guns with it, and... Sure seems to me it smells and acts the same way as non-chlorinated brake cleaner. Is there any difference between PowerderBlast and NC brake cleaner? |
| Brake cleaner does not leave behind any residue. Carb cleaner CAN but brake cleaner doesn't. You don't want any residue left behind when you clean your brakes right? I'm guessing that the brake cleaner is disolving oils better than the BreakFree and that's the residue that you are seeing. |

OR the flashpoint is just higher and the oils do not have enough time to run off. off topic, who oils rotors and brake shoes like a rifle. |

No one oils brake linings like a rifle, worn axle seals sure make a mess though. |
