I've got some light scratches on the parkerizing (upper receiver) of a Colt and would like to know how to take them out?  Can they be buffed or polished?
The scratches are not very deep at all and DO NOT penetrate the parkerizing and ARE NOT gouged into the alum.  Any suggestions short of refinishing??

If they are that light then armorall the gun and they will probobly blend in.

Spray it down with some lube and wipe it down. Those marks give it character!!!

Wipe it down with oil/lube. Also, your upper receiver is not parkerized, it is anodized.
