Do you have something like a bloc-worx or a clam shell type support block? You'll need to mount the upper receiver in the support block and then clamp it in a vise. Are you taking off the front sight base? You'll need a pin punch and a hammer to get that off.
Really though, to get the barrel off you will need a vise, block-worx support, armorer's wrench. |

Vise, upper receiver block (can get by with the old welder gloves but like the added insurance) breaker bar, and some good old elbow grease.
~brass punches and a non marring hammer if you need to remove the gas block/ front sight post. your armorers wrench should be able to take the muzzle attachment off in needed, if u dont have a armorers wrench just use some adjustable pliers work just fine. |
