Just get the Model 1 Sales punch kit from MidwayUSA and you'll have all that you need.

5/64" is the correct size, but a 1/16" will do.

Adco makes a nice one that I use....has a nice little dimple to center the punch in the pin which allows you to place and retrieve without boogering it up....

gas block roll pin is tiny...1/16" will work as mentioned above but don't get that punch driven into the hole itself.
Got a set of Proto roll pin starter punches, they are awesome, and don't bend.

My bad, I though he meant the taper pins (as in FSB removal.)
