Is it ok to use a brass brush n a chrome barrel? Will i need to switch to the plastic brushes? I am just not sure how easy it is to scratch a chrome lined barrel.

brass is softer than chrome. the only reason you would need a nylon brush is if you are using copper solvent

The hardchrome is harder than steel. Don't worry, scrub away all you want. BSW

Bronze or brass brush brushes are fine for all barrel materials. Just keep the DeWalt drill in the case and all will be fine.
