Bravo Company has an extractor spring upgrade kit.

My 3 have them. Not sure if they make any difference as I added the BCM BCG at the same time.
I did add them to a bushy & DPMS SA bolt as well & they seemed to improve extraction. But again not really sure.

None of mine came with o-rings.  I used to use #60 o-rings from the hardware store but I stopped shooting steel case ammo so I probably won't need it again.  I think it's still there and I won't bother removing it unless it causes a problem.

I use an o-ring just because it came with my BCM extractor upgrade/refresher kit. BCM themselves say it isn't necessary but I figure it doesn't hurt.

As long as you aren't having any extraction problems, don't worry about it.

Never used one either.  .mil rifles do not come with them and Colt did not send them on my rifles.
