I am going to strip off the paint I have on a lower I use for hunting.  What is the best stuff to use?

What kind of paint is it?........rattle can, duracoat???

I'm not sure though. I don't know if I would try those things on a lower or not. Hopefully someone else will have a better answer for you. Sorry.

I found that brake cleaner, clp carbon blaster, gun scrubber, ect... will take off rattle can jobs. Might have to use a lot and use a stiff tooth brush to help, and don't get it in your eyes!! Almost blinded myself. well I was blind for about 15 minutes.

BTDT. Lacquer thinner and a 1" chip bush and you are good to go.
