Looking for opinions on CorrosionX for AR applications.  It was written up very positively in the gun mags several years ago.  They said it was better than LSA and Breakfree.  No need to shake the bootle to mix the ingredients that separate (pita), and yet it is still a dispersant, to keep the dirt and grime suspended.  At the time they also said nothing was better for corrosion protection.  By the way, the oil in the "CorrosionX for guns" is the same oil that is in the bigger standard red containers.

I had a winchester 1300 spend 17 hours under water. 20 feet under the saltiest water around. My buddy had sprayed it down the night before with the "X". Came out of the ordeal just fine.

Haven't used it much on guns, but I like the Aviation version for a general purpose lube.

It's awefull in cold weather. It will freeze solid and stop the action of the firearm. If you are not using it in winter weather it is a great lube.

Corrosion X is an excellent rust prevent ... but not sure how well it works as a "lube".

It was recommended to me by a trusted person who runs a local firearm store in my City. It's not cheap but I find it to really be a quality product.

+1

Corrosion X does a great job on my bay boat and trailer.  Probably a good substiute for cosmoline, but I would never consider it as a lube, particularly if it was cold.  Over time or with the cold it gets very thick.  Too many good lubes out there to even tempt me to try to make this work.
