has anyone used lps in their ar an liked it? did a search on ths but got no hits. seems to leave a wax type film on it.

Wax is no good. It builds up and clogs stuff up.

Stick to the tried and true CLP or solvant and lubricating oil combo.

I've used LPS 1, 2 & 3 in the aviation industry for years.

If necessary, I would consider using LPS 2 in an AR. But 1 would be too light, 3 I think would be too thick.
