Is the AR-15 bore cleaning brush (not chamber brush) the same one that you would use to clean a .22 rimfire rifle bore? Since the twist rate for a .22 rimfire is different from that of an AR-15 bore (1:7 or 1:9), would the brush be different? How about the cleaning jag? I have been using .22 rimfire jags to clean my AR bores.

Yes, .22 cal rifle brushes work for both .22LR and .223.  At least that's what I use and have never had a problem cleaning the barrel properly on my AR.

.22 brush and jag is the one, cleaning brushes and jags aren't manufactured to such tight tolerances as barrel diameters.  Just like you use the same brush for a .44 as you would for a .45.  The twist rate doesn't matter either.

same diameter so youre g2g.  I suggest you either get a chamber brush or pay special attention to the chamber though.
