Gun area starting to get a bit cluttered.  I'm presently trying to get the storage bldg cleaned up and organized, so I can move cleaning/building stuff out there.

Just wondering how the rest of you handle this aspect of the job.  I mean, would something like the above help?  I was kind of looking for something a little bigger, not to mention sturdier.

Should I scout out the pawn shops and look for a Craftsman or Snap-On garage-sized toolbox?  I'm sure someone here has done that......

Any assistance/insight would be greatly appreciated.

If you're looking for cleaning parts storage, and spares for your guns, go to Walmart and get yourself a big plastic fishing tackle box. It will cost ~$30, and is big enough for almost all of your 'stuff'. Most of the deluxe models have multiple storage areas.

I have the DAC one.  Even with the tray I am nearly out of room.  I have never used the gun rack.  I like the looks of the Outer's box because it straps the gun rack to the lid, but It doesn't appear to have a tray in the top.  I agree with corespray, go buy a  nice large tackle box and start filling it up.

Fishing Tackle boxes are often cheaper and equally useful.
Smaller boxes for small or auxilliary kits, larger boxes for home/shop assignments.
