Quib opted out because of a few (1) asshat that thinks he is the sole expert on AR's..So we lost the best source, at least one we could believe, because of this. Thanks Joe..... Wait... Quib left!? he's not completely gone, just said he was going to stick to his role as moderator and refrain from actually posting in this forum. I hope he comes around and decides to chime in here, the guy has ALOT of useful info, especially to set the newbs straight on good practices for AR maintenance. |

He was one of the guys that helped me the most when I first joined. :( |

I have decided to no longer be a contributing member in this forum. From here on out I will stick strictly to monitoring and dealing with the forum solely as a moderator. And as a result, I have removed my Forum Resources. To those of you who have appreciated my input over the years, it was my pleasure to have helped you out. Quib |

Quib WOW, I was lucky enough to get involved in early December. I had enough time to absorb most of the content available on those resources. It's sad to see that wealth of knowledge gone. Do you think that it is gone forever? Or could that info return one day? Also, would you respond to direct questions, or IMs? |

Do you think that it is gone forever? Or could that info return one day? Also, would you respond to direct questions, or IMs? I spent an extremely large amount of my personal time on this site, answering posts directed here to me, and to IM’s. Not to mention, the personal time actually gathering information and pictures, to put together the info and procedures I have posted here in the past in an attempt to help others out. And I have always stated, that we do not have to agree on every topic, every time. But that differences in opinion can be expressed with respect and professionalism. Again, I don’t expect us all to agree. But I will not idly stand by and let members here personally insult me or my efforts to help out. I certainly do not need the aggravation. Those who wish to do so, are more than welcome to stand up, take the reigns, and show exactly how dedicated they are in actively taking part in this forum, and helping out the membership of this site. |

It's sad to hear that a major contributor of valuable and reliable information has stepped down. I've learned so much about maintaining my rifle in such a short time by reading this forum.
Too bad one worthless troll had to ruin it for all of the other newbies. Quib: Thanks for all of your contributions. Your BCG cleaning method rocks! |
