Is it all right to store in the condition it arrives??

I know prior to going to the range for the first time it should be cleaned first,
but until then is it ok to store as is????

I would clean it just to be sure there's a thin layer of lube all over.

How long do you plan on storing it?

A few days, or a week, then no problem.

A few months to a year, I’d be more concerned.

Atleast after the holidays.

Should I lube in/out now or it could wait??

Thanks,

After the Holidays, you should be fine, as long as you have a dry safe and the weapon still has oil or corrosion prevention compound on it from the manufacture.

If the rifle came in a plastic carry case, I would not store it in that case.

The rule of thumb on storage is 90 days when properly protected. This might vary depending on your method of storage and humidity.

It's in a safe stored in a "bore store" rig...

As for humidity I have desi paks & damp rid which seems to working well....
