I tried searching for this and didn't find anything. I got a brush kit for my AR 15 but all the rods out there swivel. Doesn't really work when you want to brush out the gear and bolt carrier. Does anyone make a non swivel rod that will fit my AR 15 cleaning brushes from Cabella's? I asked the guys at Cabella's and they didn't have anything.

I made one out of a cheap military rod  and a tig welder  just for the chamber brush!

I took a standard Hoppes rod and ran a small screw through the bottom of the handle so it also goes through the rod. It's perfect if you have an extra rod laying around.

The kit I show in the link above, costs a little more than $10 to put together.

It consists of an Outers Shotgun kit from WalMart, about $7. A cheap screwdriver handle, any cheap .99 cent screw driver will do. And a chamber brush from Brownells that fits the civilian threaded cleaning rods.
