Any suggestions where to get SLiP 2000 (squirt bottle, and bulk container) for a good price?

I'm going to try to switch from Breakfree CLP to this and see how it goes

If you're LE or MIL contact them direct and they'll help you out a bit.

Otherwise, you can also get them from SKD Tactical and Bravo Company USA.

I get mines at Brownells due to the dealer cost.

BTW, I only use SLiP 2000 now on all my guns.   Good stuff!

What the difference between the "gun lubricant" and the "extreme weapons lubricant" and which one would be better for an AR?

The EWL will last longer(will not burn off as fast). One thing though i was useing slip2000 for about a year and it worked well. Now i have been useing Weapon Shield and i think it's a better lube then the slip EWL.My ar-15's seems to stay lubed(wet) longer with WS then the slip.

How does "clean up" compare between the two ?

Specifically, how easily do the bolt & BCG clean up after a few hundred rounds (or more) using the WS compared to the SLIP lubes ?

IMO, that is one area where SLIP really works well - keeping things nice and "loose" making cleaning a bit easier.

I'm also hoping to see (or just do it myself) some sort of a "corrosion inhibitor test" done between the two ...

I would say its about the same in terms of keeping everything"loose"It seemed just as easy to clean with WS as it did with slip. But my BCG had a little more lube on it after fireing .Also WS in non-toxic also.

Ive used both and I saw no diffrence at all. In fact I like and only use the regular slip 2000, its really good stuff and doesnt dry out during firing.

I like the Slip, only problem is with the cheap-ass bottles they use, I've had the lid screw off two times in my range bag.

I usually put liquids in a ziploc bag if they are going to shifting around inside a range bag or rifle case.

I recenty switched from CLP to slip 2000 EWL for lubrication and notcied the bolt, carrier, and upper reciever stay wetter longer.
