I just found 12 unopened bottles of Government Issue LSA (Lubricating Oil Semi-Fluid) dated FEB '84. from my dad's old stash of 'stuff'.
Does anyone know if this lub has an expected lifespan?  In other words would it still be good?

I think you should be OK. Shake it and put some on your fingers and see if it's slippery. I have 4 cans from that time period also. WarDawg

Northridge ( www.northridgeinc.com/gun_maintenance.htm ) has 3 quarts for $20.

I've bought LSA from them before, it's German manufacture in sealed tins. That LSA is my preferred lube.

Geeze!!  I've got $145.00 worth of lube!  And it's been sitting around since about 1990.
