So,
I just bought a used Rock River AR15.  The flash suppressor had been removed and was not attached to the rifle when I got it.  It is the LE flash supressor and I am having trouble indexing it correctly.  There were two shims with it but it still won't line up.  Are shims the right path?  If so, where can I get more, I can;t seem to find them in my Brownell's.
Thanks much!

The shims are part of the peel washer. To use a peel washer you heat them up a bit and "slice" layers off with a razor blade. Be sure not to slice you fingers. It's a trial and error method.

Or you can use a crush washer which has a tapered cone cone configuration. Put the widest side against the flash suppressor and crank it on until tight and indexed.

And welcome aboard!
