you didn't break it in enough; or not at all most New Factory Rifles need to be broken in with at least 200 rounds of good ammo before shooting Wolf. This is my experience. 4 out of 4 needed a good lube and good ammo for break in. After a good cleaning and re-lubing Wolf works flawless for 800 rounds before jamming from being cruddy. Clean that rifle, lube it up and shoot it up! |
yep, I clean it good after going to the range, and lube it up nice and good. I usually go shooting once a week. Ive actually put 400 rounds or so of remington umc and some other orange boxed brass rounds (got them at a range)... then I started shooting the wolf. But its only happened w/ the mlitary classic so far and when I mess with the gas ring gaps it stops being a PITA...weird |
I usually lube the hell out of the bolt - gas rings, extractor..all of it. I dont lube the bolt carrier a whole lot. I put a light coating on that. Maybe I should put more on it? Basically I lube it after cleaning because I shoot every 4-7 days (try to). |
