I had accidental discharge of almost a full spray can of CLP.  Anybody got any advice on how to clean it up?  My range bag is soaked, as is the carpet in the back of the jeep.

A solution made from Dawn dish detergent and some washing soda (found in the laundry oroducts aisle) should do the trick.

((Helpful Advice))

Always keep your oil bottle in a nice zip lock bag...pref the freezer type (thicker)

That BF CLP can be hard to clean up sometimes!

I was cleaning a rifle out in my shop, when I got squirted by CLP all over the front of my white t-shirt. I immediately went inside the laundry room, took off the t-shirt and washed it separately in hot water with extra detergent. I even pre-treated the spots with dish soap which is pretty good at cutting oil.

No help. That t-shirt is permanently stained. Oh well, I’ll cut it up for rags and pistol patches!
