Where did I read of the benefits of treating a rifle bore with C-X? What is your opinion of this product? Have never used it, but its proponents speak of it as if is the best thing since cheerleaders and single malt scotch....Way back when I dated a cheerleader (well, she had BEEN a high school cheerleader) who also drank single malt scotch. Let that one slip away, but in consolation I have no wife, no children, and no mortgage. Looking back on it, I probably got the better part of the deal...back to the matter at hand-how good is C-X, and for what applications?

CX is a good product.  No problems with it.  I prefer their Aviation product to the normal stuff.

Not sure if it means much but this past winter I tested several different oil to see which would flow best in freezing temps. The CX did the worst as it froze almost solid and did not flow at all. I would not use it in cold conditions as it may lock up your gun. I'm sure it is a good oil in normal temps.
