Can't remove the cam pin on my new Colt MT6700.  The staked gas key blocks it.  The pin head seems too large to be removed when the bolt is rotated out from under the gas key.  Seems like every disassembly directions I can find say to rotate the bolt and remove the pin.  Am I missing something or do I really have to remove the staked on gas key to get the cam pin and pull the bolt out?  Thanks

Pull the cotter pin and remove the firing pin.
Then turn the pivot pin 90 degrees from the assembled position.
After that it should come right out.

Sometimes the cam pin can be a pain to remove when new. Just fiddle around with it, it’ll come out.
