Im curious if this stuff will work to soak the bolt carrier in to remove the carbon? Will it hurt the finish? Its that industrial strength zepresto stuff. It melts away small plastic parts if you leave them in it.   Anyone tried this???

B-12 CHEMTOOL shoul work great for carbon.

there is just safer mkethods out there.
