I was cleaning my Bushy Modular, and in the process of wiping her down before I put her back in the case, the finish kind of "faded" or wore down after wiping the firearm. Is this at all normal? It is more of a gray in some spots then black. Keep in mind this Bushy is only a week old and this is the first time I cleaned it.

Are you referring to the anodizing on the aluminum or the plastic parts?

spotty finish after removing from the case is usally a sign of the case drawing the oil you put on off the rifle and into the case. Cheap plastic open cell cases like the ones that come with new bushmasters are great fro this.
