I'm surprised to find that Boeshield isn't more pupular with the gun crowd.  I've used it on my bike chain and it stays on, keeps it lubed, rust free, and doesn't attract dirt.  It's pretty legendary in some circles (woodworkers who use it to prevent rust on the tables, tools, etc..).  Here's something I found on Google:
www.accuratereloading.com/rustest.html

It was developed by boeing to protect aircraft parts from rusting and as a lube, it's pretty good.  Sounds like the perfect thing for our rifles.  I'd only use it sparingly inside the bolt as I'm not sure if it gums up from hot gases but it sounds like a good idea for other areas.  Anybody know otherwise?  If this is starting to sound like an infomercial, no I don't work for them or tied to them in any way.

I used it in my 2 AR's for awhile.  After I swtiched to Breakfree CLP I will not go back.
The rifles are easier to clean after using the CLP than the Boeshield T-9.  Much less adherence of carbon.
