[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Yuck !! This stuff smells like ---- !!!!

I just bought a bottle of Breakfree CLP at the local Wally World. Anybody else
think that this stuff smells like crap? Hoppesand Rem Oil for lube........ I mean, the smell enough is justification to not use it.
I don't care if it works wonders !!!!!

Did you get the liquid or the aerosol?
The aerosol smells pretty bad if thats what you got.The liquid is not as aromatic.

Remoil just flat stinks to me.
Try something like FP-10.

smells much better.

Yeah, I got the aerosol. Man that stuff smells bad.
But then again, after years of smelling Hoppes # 9,
every other gun cleaning product that I have used
smells bad
