I was at a bran new gun shop in my small town yesterday and the owner sells Tetra products exclusivly. I asked him how long he has used Tetra and he said 10 years or so. I asked him how the Tetra copper solvent works and he said better then Sweets. I said that's a loftly claim!!! He said he used Sweets for copper and when he found out about Tetra He recleaned his guns with it that Sweets already cleaned and the patches came out brite blue. He said it works like nothing else.

Have any of you used it and does it really work that well?

i used the regular tetra cleaner that orignally came in plastic bottles that ate the bottle. Somebody messed up. plastic they used was not compatable with the solvent.

Right on the bottle it said copper plastic lead remover.  copper and platic it worked just as good as 7.62 or shoters choice copper remover. maybe a tab faster. It does a good job and removing copper. just rinse well after use.

It is like old hopes and dries  with a tacky film if  a puddle fourms and dries.

The smell, strong  same as 7.62.

old said the same thing. I never saw any problems on steel while using it. it just likes to gun up if u spill some and dont wipe it.
