When I was assembling my lower receiver, the finish got nicked in a couple places (right around the bolt release). Is there anything that I can use to touch it up? It's not real bad, but I'd like it to look new.

For small receiver scratches I've had good luck with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black.  It matches well and is easy to use...

Use vise grips with the jaws taped next time to prevent this from even happening. I assembled a lower for the first time last week using vise grips instead of punches on the roll pins and no scratches at all.

I did use vise grips with the jaws taped. I pushed the pin in a little too far before putting the bolt catch in and when I put the catch it it scraped against the side.
